What are the proper practices for contact lens care?
Wash hands with soap and water, and dry them before handling the lenses. Wear and replace the lenses strictly according to schedule. Follow the specific lens-cleaning and storage guidelines. Keep the contact lens case clean, replacing it every three to six months. Do not “top off” old lens solution with new. Remove the lenses and consult a doctor immediately if there are symptoms such as redness, pain, tearing, increased light sensitivity, blurry vision, discharge or swelling.
