Acupuncture is a licensed and regulated HealthCare profession in about half the states in the U.S. I Ryan W. Anderson have earned the license and certification as an Acupuncturist in Tennessee (109). I am also nationally Certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.). By the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM.org). This includes three professional certificates 1) Acupuncture, 2) Chinese Herbology, and 3) Bio-Medicine (conventional medicine). Out of the 212 Acupuncturists in Wisconsin, to date 6/1/05 only 3 have the earned the Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.).
