What are the production and processing standards?
No synthetic herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers have been applied to the land for three years (min.) prior to initial certification and thereafter. Livestock must be fed 100% certified organic feeds and receive NO hormones, growth promoters, medicated feeds or indiscriminate medications. All manure must be composted for a minimum of six months before application to farmland or gardens. All animals are raised in a humane fashion. Imported products are produced with the highest ethical principals. Exploitation is forbidden.
