As the HI Service Operator, Medicare Australia will report on its activities, finances and operations at the end of each financial year and provide the report to the Ministerial Council and the Minister. The report will be tabled in Parliament. Legislation requires the Minister to appoint an individual to review the operation of the Act and prepare a report on the review by 30 June 2013. A copy of the report must be made available to the Ministerial Council and tabled in Parliament.
