If the absence is the result of a workplace injury, the supervisor and employee will follow the University of Regina’s Incident/Accident reporting procedures. These procedures are available on the Human Resources website www.uregina.ca/hr/OH&S/Incident-Accident-Mainpage.html Employees covered by Worker’s Compensation are eligible for benefits upon approval by the Workers Compensation Board. Benefits will be administered in accordance with the employee’s benefit plans and the respective Collective Agreement, if applicable.
