What are the procedures required from a foreign company to register in Lebanon?
Foreign companies may operate in Lebanon through local branches or representative offices provided they obtain a “Registration Certificate” from the Ministry of Economy and Trade. Branches should register at the Commercial Registry. If the foreign entity wishes to engage in trading activities, it must also be registered at one of the four Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (Beirut, Zahleh, Tripoli and Sidon).
