What are the procedures involved with receiving, put away(RF), entering orders and picking(RF)?
Receiving: • Skid arrives at warehouse w/pack list • clerk verifies shipment against pack list • in Floormation clerk accesses the “Planned Receipt” Screen under (‘Whse — Receiving’ Menu) • clerk specifies the Order#, UOM/Qty, TrackingId, Receiving Location, etc. • clerk prints barcode tag/sticker that maps to the TrackingID then attaches it to the skid, then directs the skid to the putaway clerk Putaway: • in Floormation clerk accesses the “Stock Put-Away” screen under (‘Whse — Receiving’ Menu) • clerk specifies the location the stock came from • clerk scans the TrackingId then presses enter • clerk views the “Suggested Location” to place the stock into • clerk decides to use this location or override and specify her own location (by typing or scanning the BarcodeID representing another location • clerk specifies UOM, serial#’s etc. and presses enter • clerk physically places inventory into location Order Creation (2 ways: EDI and through gui interface): • EDI: • orders are entered
