What are the procedures for my pets surgery?
The evening prior to your pets scheduled surgery no food should be given, including treats, after 6:00pm although you can keep water available. The day of surgery we require your pet to be admitted by a doctor, for a pre-surgical exam, between 8:00am-9:00am. An estimate of fees along with an admission form will need to be reviewed and signed. Upon picking your pet up the following morning we will provide you with written post surgical care instructions. If sutures were placed they will need to be removed 10 days after surgery. Please write down and feel free to ask any questions you may have for the doctor to ensure none go unanswered.
