What are the procedures and fees for filing Uniform Commercial Code documents?

0

A Uniform Commercial Code document is sufficient for filing if it gives the names of the debtor and the secured party, is signed by the debtor, gives an address of the secured party, gives a mailing address of the debtor and contains a statement indicating the types, or describing the items, of collateral. A copy is also sufficient for filing if it contains the above information and is signed by the debtor. The document is retained in the County Clerk’s office and is indexed by the debtor (buyer).
