In Small Claims Court, an Original Notice and Verification is filed with the Court, wherein in District Court a Petition at Law is filed together with an Original Notice, which are delivered to the sheriff’s office of that county for service upon the debtor. It should be noted that Small Claims Court does allow delivery of the Original Notice by certified mail.
