What are the problems associated with gangmasters?
Whilst the majority of Gangmasters operate entirely within the law, running professional and well organised businesses, some have been found to employ illegal immigrants and benefit claimants. In many cases these employees are exploited, as the gangmaster’s fail to comply with the requirements of the Working Time Directive or the National Minimum Wage.
