What are the primary differences between the current officials structure and the structure for the UIL officials?

Each sport will determine their policies and regulation at the chapter level and will have a representative to vote on policies and procedures that may be enforced from the state level. The only exceptions are: officials are required by the UIL to report incidents of misconduct at games (as are coaches and administrators) and officials may not insist on being paid more than is allowed by the pay scale (also the schools are in violation if they do pay more). Both of these policies have been in effect but have not been enforced.
