What are the pressure cycles and how many are there?
The cycles are broken into positive and negative cycles and are further broken down into sets based upon a percentage range of the design pressure of the product. The first set of positive cycles goes from 20-50% of the product’s design pressure. The pressures then proceed higher until the last set of positive pressures which is 30-100% of the design pressure. There are 4500 cycles in each of the positive and negative directions for a total of 9000.
