What are the presentation and publication requirements of our residents?
Throughout the year, each resident will provide 3 – 5 journal club presentations, 2 – 3 critical care guideline reviews, 3 – 4 case conferences, and 1 pro-con debate with their co-resident. Additionally, each resident is required to present a “Pharmacy Grand Rounds” for ACPE continuing education credit and provide 1 – 2 didactic lectures to second or third year pharmacy students at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. Lastly, each resident will be expected to present the results of their major research project in both platform and poster format at the regional residents’ conference(s). Per discretion of the RPD and individual preceptors, the resident may be asked to provide in-services to multidisciplinary personnel and/or trainees.
