• At least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED equivalent. • Current EMT-Basic or Intermediate certification. • Turn in a complete paramedic application packet. • Receive a passing score on the HOBET entrance exam. • Complete an approved Anatomy and Physiology class within the last five years. • Although it is not mandated, it is highly desirable that paramedic students have at least 6-12 months experience as an EMT-Basic.
