The TransXChange publisher runs in a windows environment – see publisher prerequisites. Note that in order to run the publisher on your machine, you must first have installed the required version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version. as described in the installation instructions. If you do not have the correct version of the JRe you may get an error message when you try to run the publisher such as “An error occurred while starting the application”.
