What are the prerequisites for the Global MBA Online program?
Prerequisites include knowledge of calculus, and competence in personal computing. Degree credit is not earned for program prerequisites. Deficiencies must be remedied within the first 12 hours of graduate work. Currently, these prerequisite courses are not offered online. If a student needs to complete the calculus prerequisite, it is noted on the admission letter from UTD. The deficiency in calculus may be remedied by taking MATH 5304, Applied Mathematical Analysis for Non-majors I, or MATH 1325 and 1326. Students must receive a grade of ‘B’ or better. Most community colleges and universities have an equivalent course which may be taken with the approval of the Advising office. Competence in personal computing may be demonstrated by completing BA 3351 with a grade of ‘B’ or better, completing an equivalent course at another institution, or passing an exemption exam.
