What are the prerequisites for participating in Iter Romanum?

0

You are eligible to participate in Iter Romanum if you have already learned Latin on paper (at a minimum the equivalent of two years of traditional college-level or four years of a high school Latin program) and are an alumna/us of at least one full-immersion Latin workshop. It is not necessary to have completed a SALVI-run Rusticatio; alumnae/i of other Latin workshops (Father Reginald Foster’s Schola Aestiva, the Conventiculm Vasintoniense or Kentuckiense, etc.) are most welcome. The important thing is that you have had some previous experience speaking Latin in an extended workshop setting. If you have not had previous experience, you will be considered only if you can demonstrate comparable experience and/or provide a letter of recommendation from an experienced speaker of Latin who can attest to your qualifications and preparedness to be a full participant in the program.
