What are the prerequisites for joining the Theatre Department?
In order to join full-time staff, you must have first successfully completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission. Next, you need to fill out a volunteer staff application, and include an audition tape consisting of two contrasting monologues each two minutes in length. However, if you are interested in joining specifically as a theatre technician, contact us and we will consider waving the audition tape. Also, if you have not spent time here at YWAM Montana, we sometimes recommend that you come as Project Staff to help with just one show. This enables you to get familiar with the base, and to more accurately decide if the Theatre Department is right for you before you make a full two year commitment.
