What are the prerequisite courses?
In order for you to be considered for admission to our medical program, you must have completed the following prerequisite coursework at an accredited university or college: Inorganic or General Chemistry (with labs) 1 year Organic Chemistry (with labs) 1 Year General Biology or Zoology (with labs) 1 Year Physics (with labs) 1 Year College-level Mathematics (preferably Calculus or Statistics) 1 Semester English 1 Year
The core business courses include: Statistics, Financial Accounting; Managerial Accounting, Finance, Economics, Organizational Behavior, Marketing, and Operations. The upper-division accounting courses include: Intermediate Accounting I and II, Cost, Tax, Auditing and Accounting Systems. Please see prerequisites for description of the courses.
Prospective students must complete prerequisites in mathematics (college algebra or above; calculus is recommended) and statistics. Students without a background in financial accounting, microeconomics and macroeconomics are also strongly encouraged to take classes on their own to familiarize themselves with these topics.
