What are the pre-surgery care instructions?

No food after 9 pm the night before surgery. Water is fine. • The morning of surgery please allow 1 hour to check-in your pet. • Put your cat and 2 clean towels in a carrier the morning of surgery. • No food, water, or litter in the carrier at the time of Check-in. • Be prepared to pay a $10 cleaning fee at Check-in if your animal /cage needs cleaning. Your towels may not be returned. • Animals go home the same day. Discharge time is determined at Check-in • All cats are picked up at Discharge. No cats will be kept overnight • We prefer your cat in a carrier. But, if you can’t get one, put your cat in a pillow case, tie it off securely and bring the cat in a box. Loose cats and broken carriers are not allowed! Pease come prepared! • Feral (wild) cats must be in a live trap.
