What are the power supply sequencing requirements?
The PowerPC 750 processors power supply specification does not use a sequencing specification. Instead, a required set of power supply envelopes are given in the notes to the Absolute Maximum Ratings table in the Datasheet. Violation of these conditions voids the warranty on the part, and may cause permanent damage to the part. Compliance to the Absolute Maximum Ratings is not sufficient to guarantee correct operation, but violations can damage the part. For correct operation, the Recommended Operating Conditions must be met. The 750FX has the following requirements: Caution: OVDD must not exceed VDD/AVDD by more than 2.1V continuously. OVDD may exceed VDD/AVDD by up to 2.3V for up to 20ms during power-on or power-off. OVDD must not exceed VDD/AVDD by more than 2.3V for any amount of time. This note requires OVdd to never exceed Vdd by more than 2.3v at any time, for any amount of time.
