Some patients may experience swelling of the stomach after the procedure.The waist and stomach take the longest period to recover. Good results are visible within about a month or two, final results are seen within six months.While it does take a while for the swelling to go down, there is minimal to no pain involved. With ultrasonic liposuction of the abdomen, there are no stitches, and the tiny puncture wounds naturally close within two days. The most common discomfort patients experience is mild soreness, similar to the muscle ache that accompanies strenuous exercise.
