What are the possible Side Effects?
Since the LifeVest is worn outside the body, side effects are minimal. The most common physical problem noted during clinical trials was a minor temporary rash caused by heat trapped under the electrodes. Rarely, the LifeVest may shock someone who is not in a serious arrhythmia. This has happened only six times in well over 1000 months of use. Although momentarily painful, no permanent problem resulted.
Although most people taking AMORYN do not experience side effects, mild side effects are possible. The most common side effects are headache and stomach upset. Other possible side effects include nausea, insomnia, fatigue, and increased sensitivity to sunlight. Some people may experience a temporary increase in anxiety when they first start taking AMORYN. When taken for at least one month, however, AMORYN typically reduces anxiety. Please read information about Side Effects to learn more.
