Stop using salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical and contact your healthcare provider if you develop new or worsening signs of skin irritation. Serious side effects are not likely to occur with the use of salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical. If you experience a rare, but serious allergic reaction (shortness of breath; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, face, or tongue; or hives), stop using salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately. Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
