What are the porsche models and differences(ex. gt,gt3,gt4,gt2)?
The “GT” cars with Porsche are generally cars that sit along the top of their line, and in most cases are the cars which are used to homologate their race cars (GT Class race cars are allowed certain modifications over a base road car, which must be produced to a certain quanity). The current models offered are the GT3 and the GT2. Compared to the regular 911, these cars are quite different, both in terms of their engines, suspension, brakes, and bodywork. Additionally, there is the GT3RS which has a number of further upgrades over the standard GT3, and some geometry differences in the suspension as well. The key difference between the GT3 and GT3 is that the GT3 is normally aspirated while the GT2 is turbocharged. The engine blocks in these cars are the same as the 911 Turbo (which is derived from the older GT1, and different from the blocks used in the rest of the current lineup). The current GT3 is used as the basis for the GT3 Cup car, while the GT3RS is the basis for the GT3RSR. T
