The following policies outline restrictions on lab access and user conduct as it applies to lab facilities. (Non-enforcement on the part of site management does not imply waiver of any policy.) • Keycards (i.e. OSU identification cards) are to be used ONLY by the person to whom the keycard was issued; no one else is to be permitted in the lab without a keycard while the lab is closed (other than computer lab staff). • Keycard access is only available to College of Engineering computing fee payers (i.e. undergraduate students and graduate students), faculty, and computer support staff. Anyone else who desires keycard lab access must submit an Access Exception request to the computer facility director; the request will be considered at the next meeting of the computer committee. • Users are FORBIDDEN from bringing FOOD OF ANY KIND into carpeted computer labs.
