What are the policies and procedures for the Main Information Desk/Lost and Found?

All items that are turned into the lost and found at the main information desk will become the responsibility of the Information Desk. All turned in items are logged in accordingly, if an item has any form of identification that can help in identifying the owner (i.e. name, phone number, contact info) the information desk staff use this information to contact the owner. We keep all items until the Friday of that week, after which all unclaimed items are turned into the Lost and Found (310) 825-6638. The lost item must be described before it can be returned to the owner.
