The Bund in Shanghai is definitely a great area to stay. Shanghai also has tons of great shopping, museums and awesome buildings to gaze at. Beijing: The Forbidden City and Great Wall are must see attractions. The Forbidden City can take a full day to walk around in, so try to plan your trips accordingly (and don’t buy art from starving students!).
