What are the physical requirements for obtaining a Mississippi CDL?
First and foremost, you must be at least 17 years old to apply for the CDL. You must also have at least 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without corrective lenses) and are required to get a physical examination. The exam is to ensure you are physically fit and capable to drive a commercial truck. Once you pass, you will receive a U.S. Department medical certificate which you must be with you always while driving.
