What are the PHRF numbers for a Sunfish?
A PHRF of 245 seems a reasonable number for a Sunfish, which would be slightly slower than a Catalina 25, but a good bit faster than a Catalina 22. A J-24 rates around 175, a J-29 about 115, a J-40 rates a bit less than 100, a 12 meter rates about -30, so if you raced a 12 meter for one mile he would have to beat you by more than 275 seconds (4 min 35 sec) to win on handicap, in case you want to challenge Ted Turner or Dennis Connor on your lake.
