What are the phone line requirements?
For home users, typically the main phone line coming into a residence will be suitable for line sharing ADSL service. If you have more than 5 devices connected to it (telephones, answering machines, Caller ID boxes etc.) then you should consider installing ADSL on a different phone line. The other element which must be taken into consideration is an alarm system. Many alarm systems will also be connected into the main phone line. In some cases, this can cause problems for line sharing ADSL service.
