What are the PGs like ?
The PGs are basic minimal student living accommodations. One good suggestion is to find out who your roomie will be from your respective PG owners, and make sure you plan things out. Space is usually an issue, so I suggest you decide what common thing each one of you is going to get so you don’t end up with two of everything. You are usually provided with a bed, a cupboard, a desk and a chair. It’s advisable to invest in small metal racks available right there in the Yelahanka market for Rs 150-500, and hangers. Since you will have many group assignments throughout your course in Srishti, it’s also sensible to invest in a thin mattress or rug that you could throw on the floor for your room. Also, a spike or a power adapter so that you can expand on one socket. Because you will be living in a residential area, it’s not advisable to play loud music and be noisy. Keep your noise levels low so that your neighbors don’t throw a fit, and avoid issues.
