What are the people without computers at home going to do? What is going to happen to the people that do not have access to internet at home?
We have talked about keeping a lab open at school after hours. Mr. Whitlock mentioned that the state is looking into funding to provide Internet for those who don’t have it. There are all kinds of possibilities here. North Daviess has secured approximately 40 computers through the Buddy Project and Net Literacy to be placed in the community for those students not having a computer at home. This may result is some being placed in homes. Rest assured that you would not be expected to complete work without the necessary tools. Also, as Mr. Stoll (World History teacher) said, the homework load should be cut down since a lot of the group work is completed in class. However, as stated above, each group will take into consideration the resources of its members and plan their work accordingly.
