If the Bureau finds a product that does not meet comply with the standard, it will issue a Notice of Violation identifying the problem and follow-up to confirm compliance. If the violation is not corrected, a fine of up to $2500 can be assessed per inspection and an informal conference with the Bureau Chief may be requested.
