What are the penalties for underage drinking?
Although the majority of college students do use alcohol, it’s important to remember that the legal drinking age applies to everyone. the state legislature has made several changes in Wisconsin’s Drinking Age laws. Wisconsin’s 21-year drinking age law prohibits anyone under that age from possessing, purchasing, or consuming alcoholic beverages, except when the alcoholic beverage is provided by parents, guardians, or adult spouses.
