What are the Partnerships Priorities in Tameside?
Based on what we’re told by Tameside residents, local crime data and national concerns, we’ve come up with a new set of priorities for the next three years. Priority One: Reduce Acquisitive Crime We aim to reduce acquisitive crime. These crimes are committed to steal property and are often the motivation for funding substance misuse and include burglary, vehicle crime and robbery. Priority Two: Improve Quality of Life and Confidence We aim to improve perceptions of crime and how confident people are in local agencies tackling crime and anti-social behaviour. This will involve tackling crimes that are most visible in our communities and have the most affect on how we feel. Priority Three: Reduce Re-offending We work with offenders to prevent them from offending in the future. A very small minority of offenders commit a disproportionate amount of crime. We identify and work with these people to divert them away from crime. Priority Four: Reduce Violent Crime & Sexual Offences We aim to f
