What are the other requirements that I must comply with before I can file for an expungement?
You must not have any charges pending or otherwise still open when you file an expungement. Also, you must certify that you have never been granted an expungement in the state of New Jersey or in any other state. Finally, if your case has been dismissed as a result of completion or a PTI or a conditional discharge, then you must indicate the nature of the original charge, the court of disposition, and the date of disposition.
