Lands were unfairly separated from Germany after WW1, some of them were added to victor countries like France, others were added to “resurrected” Mid Age countries like Poland, and others were added to newly invented countries like so-called “Czechoslovakia.” All of this, along with the other measures commanded in the Versailles treaty, was meant to weaken Germany and humiliate her. People supported Hitler not just because of the economic misery, but because they believed he had a just national cause. Of course, Hitler’s enemies has made him look as if he was all about racism, but the truth is that racism was the last thing in the mind of Hitler and the German people at that time.
