what are the options for ending facial pain caused by nerve damage?
I have nerve damage from an accident too, and I had to take some serious medication to calm the nerves. The nerves ended up healing, kind of, but it took about a year because it was in my foot. Being that her condition is in close proximity to her brain, it may not get better at all. I had to work my way up to the maximum dosage and then work my way off of it, which was painless. Here’s some information on the drug that I took called Gabapentin or Neurotin. This is a drug that effects the central nervous system so it may be a little alarming, but I don’t know what I would have done without it. My pain was severe and I may have cut my foot off if it wasn’t for this stuff.
