A. Currently there are two CDCs on Eglin that have an enrollment of more than 430 children. There are more than 220 children enrolled in School Age Programs, as well as 40 licensed in-home care providers caring for 150 children. Currently (as of 14 April 2009) there are 224 children on the waiting list to get into a CDC. We realize the impact this waiting has on military families, but we have two new CDCs proposed, raising our capacity to more than 600. Also, there are MILCON projects for upgrades to the School Age Program and Youth Center buildings.
