What are the opportunities for international experiences?
Nursing students have many opportunities for international experiences while at Villanova. You may spend your sophomore year abroad at the University of Manchester College of Nursing in Manchester, England. There are shorter term experiences over Spring Break or at the end of the academic year for academic credit, such as Chulucanas, Peru for Health Promotion clinical credits or Galway, Ireland for a 3-credit elective. Nursing students also participate in University service trips, such as Habitat for Humanity. They may also choose University semester abroad experiences in non-nursing fields (e.g., language). This adds one summer to the nursing curriculum with completion of the program in August as opposed to May.
