What are the operating requirements for VirusScan ASaP?
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 98 Second Edition, Millennium Edition, NT4 (service pack 4 or later) and Win 2000 Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.02 SP2 (or 5.0 for use with the push installer) or later. Other browsers can also be on the system but IE is required for installation and updating. Network: VirusScan ASaP is a Web-delivered application service and requires an Internet connection to each workstation to install and update. The VirusScan ASaP Silent Installer does not require an Internet connection to install but still updates over the Internet. Even though Rumor Technology shares updates, every computer using VirusScan ASaP must be able to connect to our site to start the update process. VirusScan ASaP supports anonymous or Windows NT authentication proxies only.
