What are the opening hours for the clubhouse?
The clubhouse is open from dawn till dusk at all times, to allow members access to the locker room, etc. You can check times for the club bar on the Opening hours page. Is there a long waiting list for joining, or can I become a member straight away? At present there is no waiting list. To join should take no more than 4 weeks, including an interview with the Captain and the Vice-Captain. Do you have to live in Carnoustie to join the club? You don’t need to stay in Carnoustie to join the Caley, although you do need to live in Angus to get a season ticket. If you live outside Angus, it is still possible to join the club through our associate membership scheme. What is associate membership? Associate membership offers the full facilities of the clubhouse, plus the opportunity to play in all Caledonia golf competitions and represent the club in both home and away matches.
