What are the ongoing and forthcoming projects of SADA?
Water supply works, two service reservoirs, 33/11 kVa substation, transmission and distribution lines, and development of city forest are the ongoing projects of SADA. Another ongoing project is the development of a six-lane arterial road of which three arterial roads of 54 km have been completed. Around Rs 32 crore has been invested on these roads providing connectivity from NH-3 to CMA. The roads are: Agra-Mumbai NH from Rairu to Tighra CMA, Agra-Mumbai NH from Purani Chawani to Counter Magnet Area, and Agra-Mumbai NH from Motigheel to Counter Magnet Area. An integrated township is yet another ongoing project. The total area of SADA is 30,000 hectare. The core area of ‘development plan 2011’ consists of 9,000 hectare of which 2,000 hectare is to be developed in phase-I. Around Rs 700 crore investments will be made and funds will be provided by the NCR. The master plan for phase-I is being developed.
