What are the “OEM” versions of the FriendlyARM parts?
OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) have begun production of a product using the Mini or Micro2440 and buy in volumes like 50 or 300 or 5000 a month. They don’t need the power supply, Ethernet, USB, Serial, and JTAG cables, nor the DVDs, etc. They get a price savings for both the stuff they don’t need and the much lighter load for shipping. Pricing is on a company-by-company basis depending on their volumes and customising needs.
