I am 40 and my OB-Gyn told me I had a 20% chance of conceiving. I also have had previous miscarriages (2) so at the age of 40 if I were to get pregnant, I have a 70-80% chance of miscarriage. The quality of a womans’ eggs declines sharply due to the fact that there are only so many left before menopause. I know women do get pregnant at this age but it’s much more difficult now.
