· To recognise and reward excellence in science teaching across the full spectrum of teaching contexts, from special education needs to high-ability pupil groups in 3 to 11, 11 to 16 and 16 to 19 age categories· Promote innovative and sustainable strategies for teaching science which address a specific need in schools and colleges contribute to teachers’ continuing professional development
