Individuals that have been nominated for inclusion on the NYFMS Extended Team are expected to specialize in functionality planned for the first phase in April 2011. In addition, Extended Team members are expected to have the following skills: Broad understanding of NYS business practices especially in the areas of business processes implemented in the first phase of NYFMS; Significant years of experience using and understanding existing financial systems, as well as broad knowledge of statewide business processes; and Creative, flexible and adaptive to a collaborative work environment. In addition, Team Members are expected to return to their respective agencies following the implementation, and play a key role in administering the NYFMS system to support the needs of their respective agencies.
