The scholarship covers full tuition at Iowa State University. In addition each scholarship student receives: all educational fees paid for; uniforms; $300 towards books each semester; and up to a $400 per month subsistence allowance. The NROTC pays for scholarship students’ initial transportation from home to school and from school to summer cruise training.
